The Cowboy Bunkhouse -Western Hostel

The Cowboy Bunkhouse

The Cowboy Bunkhouse is a Western Hostel that pays homage to the cowboys, cowgirls, railroads, and cattle trails of the 1800's.  Each room honors a real American Hero cowboy or cowgirl such as  William Pickett, Frank Eaton, Phoebe Ann Oakley, and Myra Maybelle Shirley.  The hallways are named after the cattle trails and railroads that brought Texas beef cattle to the cow towns of Abilene, Dodge City, and Wichita.  Guests experience the west of the 1800's by sleeping in bunks; sharing kitchen, dining, and shower facilities; and meeting the Ranch family and other 'Cow hands' from the area.   Each week The Cowboy Bunkhouse will host different activities such as a Sunday Evening Potluck Supper, campfire program, a western dance night, a western craft night, and a western movie night.  Other amenities include a cold sarsaparilla upon your arrival, breakfast in the morning, free wifi, laundry facilities, bikes, and tour guides.  When it's twilight on the trail, head to The Cowboy Bunkhouse!
