Get Lucky in Kanab

 

 

The Streets of Kanab will come alive with luck and magic for the First Ever "Shamrocks & Redrocks" St. Patrick's Day event! 

This 3-Day festival will kick off with a St. Patrick's Day Parade on Center Street in Kanab on March 17th

 

Event Schedule: 

Thursday, March 17th:
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Traditional Irish Dinner of Cornbeef and Cabbage- Hosted by the United Church, Calvary Church and Catholic Church (39 W. 200 S.) $10/person or $25/family of four There will be Bingo after dinner.
6:00 p.m.
Parade Lineup at the Visitor Center (78 S. 100 E.)
6:30 p.m. Parade from Visitor Center on 100 E. to Center Street and heading west to Coral Hills Dental.
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Music on Center Street.
9:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Redrock Dining, Desserts & Drinks


Friday, March 18th:
6:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Breakfast Specials at participating restaurants
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Adventure Center* Scavenger Hunt- Includes Hanging Gardens, Pet Walk, Rappelling and Photography. Get Ready to Get Lucky!! (more info to come)
4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Canyon to Canyon Art Walk (the merchants from Willow Canyon to the Canyons Boutique Hotel). Kids Activities, Dancing, Music, Food and a Beer Garden at Sego Restaurant (190 N. 300 W.)
6:00 p.m. Are You Feeling Lucky 5K and Kids Lollipop race. Sign up here.
9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Redrock Dining, Desserts & Drinks


Saturday, March 19th:
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Adventure Center* Scavenger Hunt (more info to come)
10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Street Fair and Vendor Market on Main Street Plaza
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Costume Party and Big Stage Concert at Main Street Plaza
9:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Redrock Dining, Desserts & Drinks
 
 
*Adventure Center Scavenger Hunts/Outdoor adventures will meet at the Visitor Center (78 S. 100 E.)

Friday, March 18th:
9:30 a.m. Meet at the Adventure Center (78 S. 100 E. Kanab)
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Cat Walk & Stroll (after check-in at Adventure Center- you'll be instructed to go to Best Friends Cat World Trail
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Hike to check out the new Shinarump Mountain Bike trail being built
Noon - 2 p.m. Destination Hike to the local Hanging Gardens (family friendly)
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Rappelling adventure at the Squaw Trail Arch
 
Saturday, March 19th:
9:30 a.m. Meet at the Adventure Center
10:45 a.m.
Guided Dog Hike at Dogtown (check in at Adventure Center -  You'll be instructed to meet Dogtown caregivers and Sanctuary dogs at a Best Friends trailhead).
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Hike to check out "The Brave" new blue mountain biking trail being built
Noon - 2 p.m. Destination Hike to Saluratus Maze and Slot Canyons (family friendly)
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Rappelling adventure at the Kanab Krag rock.

Kanab Drug with a Root Beer Garden - We will be "chalking the block" creating chalk art on our patio/walks,making and flying cool paper airplanes and "coloring me crazy" with fun paper coloring activities. 

We will be offering the root beer garden all 3 days and the activities will be from 4-7 on Friday the 18th and 11-3 on Saturday the 19th
