Join Pipe Spring volunteer Stephen Craig on a strenuous hike that climbs approximately 800 feet to the top of the Vermillion Cliffs to one of the survey triangulation stations established by the Powell topographical survey crew in early 1870's Approximately 3 miles round trip, this hike takes place largely on the KAibab Paiute Indian Reservation and is offered in cooperation with the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians. Dress in layers, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and carry water and snacks.
